Veolia Bulgaria supported the initiative for sustainable municipality ECOMUNICIPALITY

Veolia Bulgaria participated in the initiative for sustainable municipality in Bulgaria ECOMUNICIPALITY for the second time. On 16 May 2017 the second issue of the competition was launched during the press conference of the French Institute in Bulgaria in the presence of Mr. Eric Lebedel, Ambassador of France in Bulgaria, Mr. Neno Dimov, Minister of Environment and Water, as well as Ms. Denitsa Nikolova, Deputy Minister of Regional Development and Public Works, institutional partners of the initiative.
Mr. Vasil Trenev, Deputy Executive Director of Sofiyska Voda, Mr. Olivier Jean, General Manager of Renault Nissan in Bulgaria, Ms. Snezhana Semova, Chief Executive Director of Saint-Gobain Weber for Bulgaria and Jonuc Farkash, Regional Manager of Schneider Electric for Bulgaria, took part in the launching of the initiative.
The goal of the initiative, which is under the patronage of the President of the Republic of Bulgaria, is to reward the efforts of the Bulgarian municipalities in the spheres of domestic waste management, water management, sustainable mobility and energy efficiency of buildings.
