Three Bulgarian students have been admitted in the competition for the Summer Campus of Veolia for 2016. The company is a global leader in the area of WSS services, energy services and waste management.
Daniela Gavrilova from the University of Architecture, Civil Engineering and Geodesy, Christina Peneva from Biological Faculty at Sofia University St. Kliment Ohridski and Martin Todorov at Technical University in Varna won the scholarships in a competition of 25 applicants.
Each year the Campus Veolia organizes a free course for 30-40 students from countries in which the group develops its business. In 2016 for the first time Bulgarian students are granted the opportunity to take part in it. This gives the chance to the young people within a 10-day training to enrich their knowledge in the area of natural resources management and Veolia offers to its customers around the world; water; energy and waste management.
Within these 10 days in Paris, the students will be taught theory and will be provided a hands-on experience by visiting different sites of the company and discussions with experts in the area of natural resources management. In the campus the students discuss and solve various cases.
The summer campus of Veolia is one of the significant social initiatives of the Group. In the established by Veolia training base the company gives an opportunity to a new generation of experts who will have the responsibility for the smart use of the resources on the planet in each location. These ambassadors of the progress will continue their development after the end of the competition in vital business sectors worldwide.
