"Sofiyska Voda" AD is the first water supply company on the territory of the Republic of Bulgaria to own a permit for the utilization of sludge from wastewater in agriculture and it is experienced in sludge stabilization.
Based on this document, sludge is utilized on the territory of Kubratovo WWTP of industrial wastewater treatment plants and the like from different production lines.

The requirements of the institutions in Bulgaria and the European Union concerning sludge disposal and utilization processes are extremely high. Certain types of sludge are accepted on the territory of Kubratovo WWTP, which facilitates the industrial customers in terms of the legitimate treatment of their sludge volumes.
